You’re probably wondering why not make a list of 20 straight away, the answer is that I like 10 and that I hope to discover more films before I die.
Anyway, without further ado, I leave you with the list:
1. Memento (2000)
A mind-bending thriller that follows a man suffering from short-term memory loss as he tries to solve the mystery of his wife’s murder by using notes and tattoos to track his progress.
2. The Shining (1980)
Based on Stephen King’s novel, this horror classic tells the story of a family who becomes the winter caretakers of an isolated hotel, where supernatural forces drive the father to madness.
3. Cafarnaúm (2018)
This emotional drama follows the journey of a 12-year-old boy living in poverty in Beirut, who decides to sue his parents for bringing him into such a harsh world.
4. Requiem for a Dream (2000)
This harrowing drama delves into the lives of four individuals as they spiral into addiction and despair, showcasing the destructive power of drug abuse.
5. Inglourious Basterds (2009)
