10 action films of 2023 (Part 2)
Hello everyone and welcome to a new entry in the All Stremio movie blog. This time, I bring you the second part of a previous article, 10 action films of 2023 (Part 1), My goal is to compile all the action movies from the past year 2023, so I’ll let you know that I still have one more entry to go [EDIT: Here part 3]. Without further ado, here’s the list.
1. Polite Society (2023)
Polite Society follows the story of Ria Khan, a young aspiring martial artist determined to rescue her older sister Lena from an impending marriage. With the help of her friends, Ria embarks on a brave plan to intervene in the wedding and defend freedom and fraternal unity.
2. Peter Pan & Wendy (2023)
Wendy Darling, a girl reluctant to leave behind her childhood home, encounters Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Accompanied by her siblings and a tiny fairy named Tinker Bell, Wendy travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, they face the evil Captain Hook in an exciting and dangerous adventure that will change their lives forever.
3. Sisu (2023)
In the waning days of World War II, a lone gold prospector encounters a group of Nazis in a “scorched earth” retreat in northern Finland. When the soldiers steal his gold, they discover that this miner is more than he seems, becoming a force unto himself.
The word “Sisu” doesn’t have a specific translation, but it embodies unmatched courage and determination in the face of any challenge.
4. Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant (2023)
After an ambush, Afghan interpreter Ahmed strives to save the life of US Army Sergeant John Kinley. When Kinley discovers that Ahmed and his family did not receive the promised safe passage to the United States, he is compelled to repay his debt by returning to the war zone to rescue them before the Taliban finds them first.
5. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (2023)
The Rangers face a threat from the past as they deal with a global crisis, stepping into their roles as heroes once again.
6. Ride On (2023)
Two debt collectors attempt to retrieve a stunt horse owned by Luo. However, the ensuing confrontation and subsequent acrobatic getaway go viral on social media. After being publicly humiliated, the debt collectors seek revenge, triggering a series of action-packed antics starring Luo and Red Hare that surpass their past exploits.
7. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)
A charming thief and a group of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic heist to recover a lost relic. However, things get complicated when they cross paths with the wrong people.
I really liked this one; it’s also true that I’m a huge geek.
8. John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)
John Wick discovers a way to defeat the High Table, but before gaining his freedom, he must face a new enemy with powerful alliances and confront forces that turn old friends into enemies.
I’m a big fan of Keanu Reeves, and without a doubt, this is a great movie. I recommend the entire saga.
9. Furies (2023)
A mysterious woman trains three women to exact vengeance on a criminal gang that abuses women. The three warriors risk everything to challenge this corrupt empire.
10. Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)
¡Shazam! Fury of the Gods continues the story of Billy Batson, a teenager who transforms into his adult alter ego, Shazam, by reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!”.
